Can Nanit prevent SIDS?
No. Nanit is not a SIDS prevention device and cannot predict, detect, or prevent SIDS. We always recommend following your country's national safe-sleep guidance alongside using Nanit.

How does Nanit track my baby’s breathing?
Breathing Motion Monitoring is intended for healthy, full-term babies aged 0–24 months with no previous diagnosis of a breathing disorder. It is not intended for premature babies, or for babies with known breathing difficulties or ongoing health conditions. It is not a substitute for a caregiver, and it does not replace adult supervision or safe-sleep practices.
